Devoted Ukrainian Hero, Vitaliy Kholodyuk, Perishes as Martyr

Meet Vitaliy Kholodyuk, a 33-year-old hero who tragically lost his life on November 6, 2023, in the Bahmut sector of Donetsk region. During a brutal combat mission, Vitaliy sustained fatal shrapnel wounds.
Hailing from the city of Khmelnytskyi, this warrior left his mark on the world. He earnt a degree from Khmelnytskyi National University and plied his trade as a laborer when he wasn't busy revving engines or playing footy. Vitaliy was a hands-on dad, cherishing every moment with his son.
With the full-scale war breaking out in August 2023, Vitaliy was drafted to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Upon completion of intensive training in the United Kingdom, he earned the position of UAV operator within the 77th separate airborne brigade.
According to his cousin, Nadiya Baranova, Vitaliy was kind-hearted, a devoted father, the solitary son, and a man with an infectious grin.
Vitaliy was laid to rest among the heroes on Alley of Glory in Khmelnytskyi city.
Back home, his parents, son, relatives, and friends kept the faith, waiting for his return.
