Devo Exhibition Extended: Iconic Band's History Through Lens of Renowned Photographers

A special exhibition dedicated to the iconic band Devo is currently running at Ki Smith Gallery. The show, featuring vintage band images, opened with a VIP preview on May 5 and has been extended until June 15. The exhibition now includes a Bobby Grossman image and will have an official opening on May 31.

The exhibition showcases prints from renowned photographers such as Allan Tannenbaum, Ebet Roberts, Neil Preston, Richard Alden Peterson, and Chris Stein. Two of these photographers, Tannenbaum and Roberts, attended the VIP preview. The prints are displayed in red frames, a nod to Devo's signature 'energy dome' hats.

Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh, members of the band, were present at the VIP preview, signing prints and memorabilia. The exhibition has been expanded to include an image by Bobby Grossman, known for his work with Andy Warhol, and will be officially opened on May 31 with additional content.

The Devo exhibition at Ki Smith Gallery is open until June 15. The gallery invites visitors to RSVP for the official opening on May 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. The show offers a unique look into the band's history through the lenses of some of the most influential photographers of the era.
