Developing Story: Spectrum Hung Yen, a groundbreaking project undertaken by Soilbuild International, commences construction in Hung Yen, Vietnam.

In a significant move, Singaporean real estate firm Soilbuild International has launched two major industrial projects in Vietnam - Spectrum Hung Yen and Spectrum Nghe An. These projects, designed with a focus on sustainability, functionality, and adaptability, are set to revolutionise the industrial landscape of the region.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Spectrum Nghe An took place on August 1, 2024, attended by Singapore Ambassador to Vietnam, Jaya Ratnam. Ambassador Ratnam emphasised that Spectrum Nghe An reflects the strong and growing economic partnership between Singapore and Vietnam.

Spectrum Hung Yen, on the other hand, commenced construction in 2025, with official announcements and coverage reported around June and early July 2025. The project, located in Hung Yen province, is a $60 million ready-built industrial facility, strategically situated near major expressways to enhance logistics efficiency.

Spectrum Hung Yen is expected to support and enhance the industrial infrastructure within Hung Yen, positioning itself as a major industrial and logistics center in northern Vietnam. With a gross floor area (GFA) of 52,000 sq.m in its first phase, the project will offer ready-built factories spanning 74,225 square metres.

Spectrum Nghe An, located in WHA Industrial Zone 1, offers ready-built factories tailored to the manufacturing industry. The development is attracting interest from electronics, textile, and automotive-component firms, sectors that collectively contributed over $2 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the province in the past year.

The launch of Spectrum Hung Yen marks a key milestone in bringing Soilbuild's vision of next-generation industrial estates to Vietnam. This project, Soilbuild International's first foray into one of northern Vietnam’s emerging industrial regions, signifies their expansion into new markets.

Soilbuild Group is expanding its industrial expertise globally through Soilbuild International. The firm was recently honoured for its green transformation strategy at the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum 2024. Spectrum Hung Yen, located in Clean Industrial Park, 36km from Hanoi, boasts of recent road and bridge upgrades that have reduced travel time to the capital to under an hour.

The Spectrum Nghe An development is situated in the Dong Nam Economic Zone within Nghe An province, a region that is growing as an industrial hub with nine existing industrial parks and plans to increase to 17 by 2030. This reflects a strong industrial expansion environment for both Spectrum Hung Yen and Spectrum Nghe An to thrive.

These projects, with their strategic locations, modern designs, and commitment to sustainability, are set to contribute significantly to the broader economic development of the province and region. They reflect the strong and growing economic partnership between Singapore and Vietnam, and the commitment of Soilbuild International to expanding its industrial expertise globally.

In the milieu of ongoing industrial growth, Spectrum Hung Yen, a $60 million industrial facility, is designed to bolster the logistics sector and establish itself as a significant industrial and logistics center in northern Vietnam. Additionally, Spectrum Nghe An, situated in an expanding industrial hub, is drawing attention from various sectors, with electronics, textile, and automotive-component firms expressing interest, collectively contributing over $2 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the province in the past year.
