Devastating Blaze Engulfs Iconic Córdoba Cathedral
In the heart of Cordoba, Spain, the historic Mezquita-Catedral faced a sudden challenge on the night of August 8, 2025. A fire, reportedly caused by a short circuit in an electric floor-sweeping machine, broke out in the Almánzor chapel.
