Detour Advisory: Upcoming Roadworks on Halterner Straße in Leithe
Drivers heading in the opposite direction of Gelsenkirchen and Bochum are advised to take a detour via Gelsenkirchen and Bochum. This change is due to upcoming roadworks on Halterner Straße in Leithe, starting next week and lasting until October 10.
From September 29, Halterner Straße will be a one-way street towards Gelsenkirchen between Kemnastraße and Langestraße. Streetworks NRW will commence construction on the pedestrian path and roadway during this period. The local municipal construction department or road maintenance authority is overseeing the project. This change aims to facilitate the necessary repairs and improvements to the road infrastructure.
Motorists are urged to plan their routes accordingly and allow for extra time due to the temporary road restrictions. The city expects the construction to be completed by October 10, restoring normal traffic flow on Halterner Straße.
