In the upcoming third installment of the Knives Out franchise, 'Wake Up Dead Man,' writer-director Rian Johnson delivers a unique blend of comedy and mystery, setting it apart from its predecessors. The movie, which will have a limited theatrical release on November 26 and be available for streaming on Netflix on December 12, takes place in a small-town church in upstate New York.

The ensemble cast for the film includes an impressive lineup of actors, including Daniel Craig, who reprises his role as the renowned detective Benoit Blanc. Craig describes the movie as a departure from the previous installments but still a Benoit Blanc mystery. Joining Craig is an array of talented actors, such as Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Cailee Spaeny, who plays a cellist in the movie, is making her comedy debut in the film. The movie marks a significant milestone in her career, as it is also her first foray into the darker, gothic tones that characterise the Knives Out franchise. Josh O'Connor, who received applause for his performance as a young priest in the movie, expressed admiration for Rian Johnson, calling him a 'genius' writer and director. O'Connor's portrayal in the film has been widely praised, adding another layer of intrigue to the already captivating mystery.

The movie's premiere took place at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its unique blend of comedy and mystery, as well as the stellar performances from its ensemble cast. With its limited theatrical release and upcoming streaming debut, 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' promises to be a must-watch for fans of the franchise and newcomers alike.
