The third annual "Combat Sniper" tournament, named after Hero of the Soviet Union Fedor Okhlopkov, is set to take place from October 3rd to 5th in Yakutsk at the "Sualus" polygon. This prestigious event is being led by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia - Presidential Envoy to the Far East Federal District, Yuri Petrovich Trutnev.
This competition aims to exchange experience among snipers and enhance the combat capability of the Russian army. Participants can be military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies, instructors of training centers, and civilian shooters. All are welcome to compete under equal conditions, regardless of their sporting ranks, positions, gender, or age.
The tournament will consist of two types: "Day" in daylight and "Night" in darkness, with additional tests included. To participate, you need to fill out an application and send it to the email address [email protected]. After registration and verification, participants will be added to a special group in the Telegram messenger for updates and communication.
The qualification target size is 40 cm and the minimum ammunition expenditure is 8 pieces. The rules prohibit the exchange of roles within the pair, the transfer of rifles, and the simultaneous participation of shooters and spotters in different pairs. There is no participation fee for the tournament.
The competition will be held as a championship with a sniper pair, consisting of a shooter and a spotter. The caliber of the weapon is up to 12.7 mm inclusive. Organizers reserve the right to refuse participation without explanation.
