Sunday, June 29th, 2025 marks a critical showdown for Dessau-Roßlauer HV in Essen. Despite the season already over, the handball team must face TuSEM Essen once more to secure their survival. The support from Dessau's fans is fiercer than ever, as demonstrated by the sold-out fan bus bound for Essen.
Tobias "Otti" Ott of ZABporters shares his enthusiasm for the upcoming game, "We'll sing for 60 minutes, and we'll make sure our team knows they're not alone. We've got banners, flags, and, trust me, they'll hear us loud and clear." Ott adds, "Whenever I've been in Essen, we've won. I'm predicting a thrilling 29-27 victory for us."
The spirit of camaraderie extends beyond league rivals, with HC Elbflorenz offering its support to DRHV. In fact, the EHV Aue, Dessau's coach Uwe Jungandreas's new club, also extends solidarity. "The East stands together, and EHV Aue is fully behind DRHV 06! We wish for a fair and just outcome with DRHV 06 retaining their class."
Despite the grueling journey and the high stakes, the indomitable spirit of the Dessau-Roßlauer HV supporters continues to shimmer in the face of adversity. When asked, Tobias Ott retains a sliver of hope, "I still have a feeling that the game can somehow be avoided or we can secure survival. But come Sunday, it's game time, and we'll put our hearts out for 60 minutes straight."
Tobias "Otti" Ott, in anticipation of the intense match, declared, "We'll fill the stadium with our cheers for 60 minutes, ensuring our team knows they're not alone, just as we've done in every sports contest." He further predicted, "The final score will be a thrilling 29-27 in favor of Dessau-Roßlauer HV."
