She becomes the head of the 'Realitystar Academy' - Désirée Nick's The Khan Academy redefines reality TV with strict rules and no eliminations

Joyn's latest reality series, The Khan Academy, is set to launch on April 16. The show will follow 18 contestants—dubbed 'students'—as they compete under the strict guidance of 69-year-old headmistress Désirée Nick. With a no-nonsense approach, Nick aims to mould participants into well-rounded performers rather than just chasing fame.

The 18 contestants will live together in the Academy, facing challenges across six subjects. Unlike traditional reality shows, no eliminations took place in the first two episodes after the premiere. Instead, those who fail exams will receive a blue letter, putting them at risk of being sent home.

Nick has made her expectations clear with two golden rules: 'Thou shalt not be boring' and 'Be unique'. Her personal mantra for the show, 'Reality TV isn't a party—it's a test,' reflects her belief that strictness prepares contestants for the harsh realities of showbiz. She warns them about the envy and backlash that often come with success, framing her tough love as a form of care.

New episodes will drop weekly on Joyn, with two released at a time. The ultimate prize? A wildcard spot in the next season of Nick Jonas' Rampensau Germany, giving the winner a direct path into another high-profile competition.

The show kicks off on April 16, offering a fresh take on reality TV with its focus on skill and resilience. Contestants will face exams, blue letters, and Nick's uncompromising standards. The winner, however, gains more than just a title—they'll earn a place in another major production, extending their shot at stardom.
