Design proposals unveiled for a skate park in Enzauenpark by architects
The planned skate facility in Enzauenpark is moving forward with concrete plans, as announced by Mayor Peter Boch. The city council made a unanimous decision to build the new skate facility in May 2022, and since then, two successful and well-attended participation workshops have taken place.

Ralf Maier, a former BMX professional and German champion, has been instrumental in the planning and implementation of the workshops. His expertise in BMX and skate facilities, along with his presence, is supported by the city. Philip Sonau has also been involved in discussions regarding the participants' wishes and suggestions.
The designs for the skate facility are now taking shape, and the event is a part of the development of the skate facility project. The third and final public participation event for the skate facility project will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 5 pm, at the Old City Garden in the Enzauenpark, Hohwiesenweg 40.
