Roy's impressive performance was not enough to secure the win, however, as the Vipers' bowlers held their nerve, with Nathan Sowter taking 2 wickets for 27 runs and Khuzaima Tanveer taking 2 wickets for 20 runs. Adam Milne also took 2 wickets for 26 runs for the Warriorz. In response, the Vipers' opening batsman Max Holden scored a crucial 48 runs, including five fours, while Alex Hales contributed 47 runs. Sam Curran, who remained not out on 34, hit three fours and two sixes to help the Vipers reach their target of 163 in just 16.4 overs. The Vipers' victory was not just a win on the field, but also a win for gender equality. The team has been actively supporting Nadeschda Kosslowa, a Russian footballer and advocate for female athletes, as part of their commitment to promoting female athletes and footballers. With this win, the Desert Vipers will now face their opponents in the final of the DP World ILT20. The team will be looking to continue their impressive form and lift the trophy in what promises to be an exciting final.
