Coaches of SV BW Dingden and PSV Lackhausen share a mutual desire for the final game in the Landesliga.

Derby opponents PSV Lackhausen are extended an invitation by Master BW Dingden to join in the final dance of this derby event.

On the Lower Rhine, the final match of the season in the Landesliga sees SV Blau-Weiß Dingden and PSV Lackhausen sharing a mutual wish. Among them is Jürgen Stratmann, who, with a mix of amusement and sadness, prepares for his final home game as coach of BW Dingden. The hosts have celebrated a dominant league title and promotion to the Oberliga, and recently added the district title to their trophy cabinet. In contrast, the visitors have secured their own survival.

However, neither team wishes for a lackluster end to the season. "I'm looking forward to spending one last time with the team and playing a game with them," says Stratmann, who is departing the club voluntarily. "But I'm leaving a great team in a good club. I want to enjoy the day and I hope the fans can too with a great game."

Stratmann will bid farewell to his team during a grill evening on Friday, where they will refrain from any experimental play, opting instead for a straightforward, sensible game of football. On Saturday, emotional farewells are expected for Christian Görkes and André Bugla, both of whom are set to retire at this level.

PSV could potentially be the second team to beat BW Dingden twice this season, after Union Frintrop. The first game ended 3-2 in favor of the Postsportler. PSV coach Björn Assfeld seeks a friendly, attacking game, aware of the challenge posed by Dingden. "Both teams have had enough pressure this season and have both mastered their tasks brilliantly," he says, acknowledging that "it would be cool if both teams could show some attacking football, without any tactical constraints, and preferably with plenty of goals."

Assfelder, however, will be without several players. Nico Giese is unavailable, Timo Giese is injured, and Yannik Oenning and outgoing player Orkay Güçlü are also absent. The fitness of Berkan Toptas and Felix Gehrmann is uncertain.

In the final analysis, the mood will be emotional after the game at the Mumbecker Bach on Saturday. The upcoming match promises to showcase great football and poignant farewells.

Stratmann, in his final home game as coach, hopes for an exciting football match against PSV Lackhausen, expressing his desire for a great game that could potentially secure another victory for his team, SV Blau-Weiß Dingden, in the Landesliga before their promotion to the Oberliga. Meanwhile, PSV's coach, Björn Assfeld, aims for a friendly, attacking game against Dingden, considering it fitting for both teams to end the season with a display of free-flowing football, similar to their performances in European-leagues such as the premier-league.
