Department Head in Herzogenaurach Now Rainer Schramm
Rainer Schramm has been appointed as the new head of the Police Inspectorate Herzogenaurach, effective from July 1, 2025. The news was announced with great pleasure by Police President Adolf Bloechl, who called Schramm one of the best and his absolute preferred candidate for the position.
Born in Fürth in 1979, Schramm began his career in the middle police service (2nd QE) at the Bavarian Bereitschaftspolizei in Nuremberg in 1997. He completed his training and served in a deployment unit before transferring to the patrol service at the Police Inspectorate Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Schramm's outstanding performance led to his promotion to the 3rd qualification level.
In 2002, Schramm returned to Mittelfranken at the Police Inspectorate Fürth, and in 2006, he was assigned to the Police Inspectorate Neustadt an der Aisch. Since 2021, he has been serving as deputy head of the Police Inspectorate Höchstadt an der Aisch. Schramm's excellent work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as he was recently admitted to the promotion program for the 4th qualification level.
Schramm's inauguration was officially performed by the President of the Police Headquarters Mittelfranken, Mr. Adolf Bloechl. In his speech, Mr. Bloechl thanked Alexander Bugla for reliably leading the station over the past year and wished him success in his studies at the Police University. Bugla, who led the station for over a year, has now left Herzogenaurach to pursue his studies.
The predecessor director of the Herzogenaurach police station, Markus Weber, handed over his position to Schramm on July 1, 2025. Dr. German Hacker, the First Mayor, welcomed Schramm and expressed gratitude for the good cooperation in the past year with Bugla. Hacker also emphasised the excellent work of the law enforcement in creating a feeling of security in Herzogenaurach and expressed his desire for short notice communication for future cooperation.
Schramm values maintaining close contact and open communication with network partners and aims to strengthen the trust that citizens have in the police. He thanks Mr. Bloechl for his support and trust, expressing his desire to build on the excellent work of his predecessors while also shaping it.
