Denmark's Daily Headlines – Tuesday Recap:

Check out the hustle and bustle in Denmark today, with protests at Maersk, a dinosaur fossil reveal, and more news that's bound to tickle your fancy!

20 Protesters Busted at Danish Maersk Stockade

Last Monday, Danish cops rounded up 20 radical protesters outside Maersk's headquarters in Copenhagen, denouncing the maritime juggernaut for Orwellian shipments of military hardware to Israel.

Guess who showed up to the rally? Climate crusader Greta Thunberg herself! Danish police clobbered and gassed the swarm of dissenters, as paper tigers, according to local media accounts. Want a taste of their rhetoric? Thunberg went on record:

Maersk responded with DM-fried lingo, clarifying the cargo contained "military-grade equipment," but no "airends" or "ammunition."

Fossilized Stegosaurus on Loan to Denmark

Get ready, bone aficionados! A 150 million-year-old Stegosaurus skeleton is making its way to the Museum of Evolution in Knuthenborg, set to begin its public unveiling March 29th.

Paleontologists unearthed the remarkably intact beast in Wyoming with help from their Yank counterparts in May 2022. This fossil ranks among the most complete Stegosaurus specimens ever found, making it a top-5 contender in the realm of Dino Domination!

According to Christoffer Knuth, Knuthenborg's safari kingpin:

Denmark Shuns Ukraine War Neutrality

Last night at the UNSC, the US, Russia, and China agreed on a resolution supporting a neutral stance in Ukraine's war. Denmark and several European nations, including France, the UK, Greece, and Slovenia, kept mum on the issue. Earlier in the day, during a UN General Assembly session, the US push for UN support for Ukraine's sovereignty and independence was shredded by a majority of member states.

These developments underscore a divisive international landscape with robust allegiances being forged and broken. For more on this slice of international politics, listen to the goss!

Swedes Dig Danish PM's Lead

A new Swedish survey has Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen ranked second most trusted international leader, just below Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky. This curious interest in Scandinavian leadership follows the survey's query:

No surprise, Frederiksen rated high with the Swedes, who have her confidence at 50 percent, just beneath Zelensky's 53 percent.
