"It's hard to expect this sort of slump, especially since our qualifying performance was almost perfect. The players aren't fully mature yet, both in football and mentally, and we paid dearly for it by missing out on going directly to the Euro," Bišćan explained.
He has also had his fair share of criticism. "Criticism comes with the job, and those who aren't able to understand it shouldn't be in this profession," Bišćan concluded.
