Things got hairy in LA as an angry mob was filmed defiling and immolating the glorious American Flag while screaming anti-Trump remarks during the weekend's activities.
Take a gander at the footage – it shows a swarm of protesters, many adorned with masks, huddled around a flag that's engulfed in flames on the ground. Some of these offenders vehemently spit on the flag while others doused it with some flinty fluid to keep the good times rolling, before another flag was tossed onto the pyre.
A few of the protesters proudly flaunted the flags of Latin American countries, like Mexico, as the US flag went up in smoke. They could be seen shouting, "F-Trump."
The footage from this fiery spectacle in LA also captures officers with the Sheriff's Department of Los Angeles stepping in to contain the crowds, firing off flashbangs as they charged in.

As the dust settled on Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department declared an "unlawful gathering" within LA's downtown district.
"A batch of rabble-rousers have broken off and scattered throughout the Downtown vicinity," LA Central Division shared on their socials. "Residents, businesses – even tourists who happened to be in the Downtown area – should stay aware and report any shady activities. Officers are rushing to different locations to disperse these factions."
"AN UNLAWFUL GATHERING has been declared in the Downtown Los Angeles area," the department added with a stern warning.

The unruly mob marched through the LA Live area, a bustling entertainment hub in the heart of downtown LA that drops right next to Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center. The protesters were seen obstructing lanes on Figueroa and 11th streets, cops confirmed.
Our President, Donald Trump, took aggressive action this weekend, deploying the National Guard following the reported attacks on ICE agents patrolling the streets of LA during raids to apprehend and deport illegal immigrants. Even though the California Governor, Gavin Newsom, as well as the LA Mayor, Karen Bass, were reluctant to intervene forcefully, Trump pressured them to do so by signing a presidential memorandum, authorizing 2,000 National Guard troops to "dampen the disorder rampant in LA," according to the White House statement.
Newsom was quick to object, even as the chaos escalated.

"I've sent a formal request to the Trump Administration to withdraw their unauthorized deployment of troops in Los Angeles county and return them to my command," Newsom penned on Sunday, sharing his letter to the President on social media. "We didn't have any problems... until Trump stuck his nose in. This temerarious act by the federal government is nothing less than a violation of our state's sovereignty – it's stirring up more animosity, while diverting resources where they're really needed."
