Title: Alan Dershowitz's Take: Harvard Shouldn't Use Academic Freedom as a Shield for Promoting Antisemitism

Get a load of this hot take from attorney Alan Dershowitz on Life, Liberty & Levin. He's giving the feds a good ol' talking-to about Harvard University, warning against a systemic issue brewing there.

Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman ain't too happy about his party turning "antisemitic view spreaders" into "martyrs" in their eagerness to oppose Prez Trump.

The Trump administration's been getting flak from the Dems for their moves to boot out foreign students involved in anti-Israel and pro-Hamas protests on college campuses since Oct 7.

Goldman thinks this is a stretch and an unwarranted First Amendment abuse. But, he warns Dems to tread carefully when defending those with antisemitic views.

Democrats: Got an Antisemitism Problem?

Goldman sounded the alarm at a Jewish Democratic Council of America conference, stating, "Donald Trump's overreach means antisemitic voices are becoming martyrs, which scares me."

Instead of focusing on these folks with antisemitic views, Goldman thinks Democrats should prioritize the remaining American hostages in Gaza, of whom there's only one left alive.

Goldman, who co-chairs the House Bipartisan Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, encourages Dems, especially the Jewish Dems, not to let Trump's antics distract them from addressing antisemitism on the left.

Don't Miss...

Goldman's words ring true: Opposition to Trump shouldn't make Dems embrace antisemitic views. He urges Republicans to follow suit and calls out the Trump administration for using antisemitism concerns to push their own agenda.

He was among 21 House Democrats who in 2024 penned a letter to Columbia University's Board of Trustees, urging them to dissolve "the unauthorized, anti-Israel, and anti-Jewish activists' encampment on campus."
