White House ex-press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre ceased her involvement with the Democratic Party and now identifies as an independent. This information was disclosed in a statement accompanying her latest book launch.

Democratic official Karine Jean-Pierre departs from the party following her tenure in the allegedly dysfunctional Biden administration's White House.

Out with the Party, In with Independence:

Karine Jean-Pierre, the former White House press secretary, has bid farewell to the Democratic Party and embraced the realm of independents. According to a press statement paving the way for her new book, "Independent: A Peek Behind Broken White House Walls, Beyond the Political Barriers."

The publication announcement hails from Legacy Lit, an imprint of Hachette Book Group. The statement reveals that Jean-Pierre has chosen to break free from the political divide and is now exploring life as an independent, a decision not made lightly.

Having served in the Biden administration, Jean-Pierre expresses her reasons for ceasing to identify as a Democrat in a somewhat abstract manner, stating that the current political climate demands a liberation from pre-existing labels.

"From January 20 until the stroke of noon, I was the public voice of the President of the United States," Jean-Pierre declared in a statement released on Wednesday. "At precisely noon, I transformed into a private citizen, grappling with the unfolding future of our nation - much like millions of Americans and our worldwide allies."

Cracking down on cognitive decline claims: Republican senators are planning a hearing to scrutinize Biden's perceived cognitive decline.

Jean-Pierre stepped into the role of White House press secretary on May 13, 2022, following Jen Psaki's departure, and held the position until the end of former President Joe Biden's tenure, also becoming a senior adviser to the president.

She marked history as the first Black woman and openly gay individual to fill the position, having previously worked under former President Barack Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris as well.

Jean-Pierre's separation from the Democratic Party unfolds amid the party's efforts to regain momentum following 2024 election setbacks.

"To survive as a nation, we need to detach ourselves from labels," she said in the statement. "We must be open to innovative thoughts and well-thought-out strategies. We need to adhere to reason and questioning, rather than unquestioning loyalty and conformity as we've been accustomed to in the past."

"Breaking free from labels is, indeed, the essence of my upcoming book, 'Independent,'" she added.

Beyond the Headlines: Her new book is expected to delve deeper into the White House as Biden opted out of the 2024 presidential election due to "the deception within the Democratic Party that precipitated his decision."

Publishers anticipate that the book will offer a more intimate perspective on the inner workings of the White House.

The book is slated for release on October 21, almost a year after the 2024 presidential election.
