On Friday, Democratic lawmakers and demonstrators targeted Delaney Hall, a high-security immigration facility in Newark, NJ. Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin described the detainees as individuals suspected of "heinous crimes," including "murderers, terrorists, child rapists, and MS-13 gang members."
A group of protesters, including elected representatives, chased after a bus of detainees approaching the security gate before breaking into the facility, according to a DHS press release.

Following the incident, McIver claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) forcefully shoved her and manhandled Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-N.J. However, the footage posted to the site on Saturday seems to show McIver pushing and elbowing officials as they defended the gate.

Chinchilla Caballero, arrested on April 29, is a verified member of MS-13, reported by the DHS.
Caballero's Capture
ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Newark and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Newark nabbed Caballero in Bloomfield, NJ, on April 29 in response to an arrest warrant. Agents handed him a notice to appear and detained him in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
Chinchilla Caballero matches "numerous TECS lookouts" and is an active member of MS13, claimed the DHS.
Ramos Marin was seized on April 3, and DHS identified him as a wanted fugitive for murder in Brazil. He is the subject of an active INTERPOL Red Notice.
Marin's Arrest
Ramos Marin, wanted for homicide, has an International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) Red Notice. A "Red Notice" is a global appeal to law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest an individual.
ICE's ERO Newark, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) SAC Newark, and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Newark apprehended Ramos Marin on April 29, and he is currently in ICE custody without bond.
Saravia Santamaria, a Salvadoran national and confirmed MS-13 member, was detained by the ICE/ERO New Jersey Fugitive Operations Unit on May 1.

ICE ERO officers, in conjunction with HSI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) special agents, apprehended Santamaria without incident outside his North Bergen, New Jersey, residence on May 1. He was allegedly associated with an operation dubbed "Raven" and known MS-13 gang affiliations, according to the DHS.
Adonis Estevez Bello, a 23-year-old Dominican citizen, was arrested by ICE Newark on May 5. He has a long history of felony convictions, including drug trafficking, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, resisting arrest, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. Estevez Bello is connected to the street gang "Dominicans don't play," as per the agency.

His past felony convictions include possession of a controlled dangerous substance, drug trafficking, resisting arrest, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. Estevez Bello is affiliated with the street gang "Dominicans don't play," according to the authorities.
ICE Newark issued him a notice to appear, and he will stay in ICE custody pending a removal hearing.
The arrest of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Maximo Nunez, a 58-year-old citizen of the Dominican Republic, created headlines. He has felony arrests for aggravated unlicensed driving, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, obstructing administration of law, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

On May 5, ICE Newark detained Nunez. He has multiple felony arrests for obstructing administration of law, aggravated unlicensed driving, assault with a deadly weapon - with the intent to kill, and interfering with custody of children, as per the DHS.
ICE Newark issued him a notice to appear, and he will remain in ICE custody pending a removal hearing.
