"Demi Vollering, back in the Tour de France Femmes, approaches the race with a strong determination to triumph, having faced significant challenges the previous year."

The 2024 edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is expected to be a challenging and competitive race, with some of the world's best cyclists set to take on the grueling course.

The race, scheduled for 2024, will be a multi-stage event, covering approximately 1,165 km with over 17,240 meters of climbing. The course will feature a mixture of flat, hilly, and mountainous terrains, with key challenges including hors catégorie climbs like the legendary Col de la Madeleine and other tough ascents in the Alps and Massif Central.

Some of the top riders expected to compete in the 2024 event include Kasia Niewiadoma, Demi Vollering, Elisa Longo Borghini, and Anna van der Breggen. These riders are known for excelling in mountainous and hilly classics, and the route design favors riders who can handle lengthy climbs and technical descents.

Niewiadoma, who is defending her Tour de France title in 2023, believes that the 2023 edition will be the hardest due to the course and the competition. Vollering, who lost almost two minutes to Niewiadoma due to a crash in 2022, is looking forward to a battle in the 2023 race.

The race will open with a punchy weekend in Brittany and close with two dizzying days in the Alps. Local Breton rider Cédrine Kerbaol will also compete in the top riders' roundtable. Vollering, who broke her tailbone in a crash during the 2022 Tour de France, has expressed her desire to win the yellow jersey in the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

The 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will be longer than previous editions, with nine days and 1,165km. Other top riders competing in the 2023 event include Elisa Longo Borghini, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, Anna van der Breggen, Pauliena Rooijakkers, Marlen Reusser, and Cédrine Kerbaol.

While precise details for the 2024 route and stages have not been fully disclosed, the expected pattern follows the increasingly rigorous and mountainous trend observed in recent years of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The 2024 race is shaping up to be a grueling test of climbing prowess and endurance, with the competition mirroring the high standard set by the top riders in 2023.
