Demi Lovato Weddings her Longtime Partner, Jutes Lutes, in Custom Vivienne Westwood Gown
On May 25, Demi Lovato exchanged vows with Jordan "Jutes" Lutes in a romantic ceremony held in California, according to Vogue magazine. The singer chose a unique dress for the occasion – a custom pearl-white gown designed by the iconic British fashion house, Vivienne Westwood.
Lovato took great care in selecting her wedding dress, working closely with the Vivienne Westwood couture team for five fittings in Los Angeles. The pearl white silk dress featured a structured corset bodice that accentuated her curves and an off-the-shoulder neckline with draped silk satin, creating a striking and elegant silhouette.
"I've been a fan of Vivienne Westwood's designs for a long time," Lovato shared with Vogue. "When I thought about the style of dress I wanted, I kept coming back to Vivienne's designs - particularly how her silhouettes really emphasize the curves of the body and how she uses corsets."
For the reception, the bride changed into a second Westwood ensemble – an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top adorned with broken pearls hanging from the neckline. Lovato expressed her delight with her second look, calling it "a unique piece that makes me feel really special."
The wedding festivities kicked off with a rehearsal dinner the night before the nuptials. After a brief ceremony, coordinated by Mindy Weiss, the group enjoyed a meal.
Lovato announced her excitement about the wedding on Valentine's Day with an Instagram post. "Jordan, I can't wait to marry you! The last three years have been the best of my life, thanks to you," she wrote to the singer-songwriter.
The couple made their relationship public in August 2022 and became engaged in Los Angeles in December 2023.
