Preparation:
- Heat your oven to 180ºC or 350ºF.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss your grated Cheddar cheese, room-temperature butter, kosher salt, and McCormick Spice Blend. Blend until the mixture is well-combined.
- Introduce flour and ice water, one tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition until the dough comes together. If the dough seems too dry, include a bit more water.
- Divide the dough into two halves and shape each half into a flat disc. Wrap disks in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Prepare your dough by rolling it out to a thickness of 1/8-inch (1/2 cm). Press the dough edges to close any rips or cracks.
- Cut the rolled dough into 2.5-inch squares. Poke a hole in the center of each square using a toothpick for ventilation while baking.
- Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring adequate spacing between each one.
- Bake the crackers for 13 minutes or until they turn a golden-brown color.
- Bon appétit!
