Delay in Iran's nuclear program? Israel claims attacks are responsible for the setbacks
** git yer freakin' popcorn, folks! **
The ol' beef between Israel and Iran has been heating up for a hot minute now, ya'll, and the international community is feeling a bit jittery. Israel's been goin' after Iran big time, claimin' they're tryin' to stop 'em from buildin' the bomb.
Israel reckons they've set 'em back a good few years with their attacks. Foreign Minister Saar put it like this: "I reckon, based on the intel we've been hearin', we've already slowed down their chances of gettin' a nuclear bomb by at least two or three years," sais he in an interview with "Bild".
Israel ain't shy about defendin' their actions, ya'll
"Takin' out the bigwigs runnin' that nuclear program is cruicial," the foreign minister added."We've made some serious headway here. But we ain't stoppin' until we've done everything we can to squash this threat," sized up Saar. In another interview with Japanese broadcaster NHK, he went on: "We ain't gonna let Iran become like North Korea! Iran's been tryin' to follow North Korea's path 'cause they think their regime's security's covered by them nukes. But we ain't lettin' that happen in Iran!"
It ain't all sunshine and roses, though
When asked by NHK if Israel's ready for peace talk, Saar went, "Personally, I reckon Iran ain't lookin' for peace. Iran's tryin' to pull the wool over everybody's eyes." The goons in Tehran say they ain't ready for negotiations as long as the attacks keep comin'. But there weren't no progress in negotiations even before the attacks. (dpa)
This whole deal's a right powder keg, with Iran holdin' on to some nuke capabilities despite Israel's best efforts and the repercussions of the conflict impacting the whole damn world. But there ain't no sign either party's interested in settlin' this thing through negotiations any time soon.
P.S. If you're as intrigued as I am, you might wanna check out the story of the "White Tiger" dad spillin' the beans to NHK. It's a real wild ride, lemme tell ya!
