The much-anticipated documentary, "Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home," originally scheduled to air on August 18, 2025, on the BBC, has been temporarily delayed. The broadcast of this one-hour documentary, which chronicles the final years and family moments of the legendary British rock musician, has been postponed out of respect for Ozzy Osbourne’s loved ones, who are still mourning his death from a heart attack on July 22, 2025.

The Osbourne family requested more time before the documentary was broadcast. The BBC, in a statement, explained that they postponed the airing to honour the family's wishes.

"Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home" is an intimate film made over three years with Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon, daughter Kelly, son Jack, and close friends. The documentary aims to show Ozzy Osbourne's indomitable spirit and brings comfort and joy to his fans and viewers as they remember and celebrate his extraordinary life.

The film is an honest and moving portrait of Ozzy Osbourne's final performance and the final chapter of his life. Clare Sillery, from BBC, felt honoured to film this stage of Ozzy Osbourne's life with his family.

Ozzy Osbourne, known as the "Prince of Darkness," passed away in July at the age of 76. Coronary heart disease and his Parkinson's disease were common causes of his death, according to the "New York Times."

The BBC confirmed the delay to the website of British TV listings magazine "RadioTimes." No new airdate for "Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home" has been announced yet, but the BBC stated it will confirm a new air date shortly.

The documentary was planned to be released a few weeks after Ozzy Osbourne's death. Despite the delay, fans are eagerly waiting to watch this moving tribute to the legendary rock musician.
