Defensive All-Rounder Talent Joins BW Dingden's Team

Freshened Footy Fun at BW Dingden: Two New Faces

The lively spirits at BW Dingden, freshly ascended to the Oberliga, have welcomed two new additions to their squad, just a sprinkle after the culmination of the football Landesliga season. From the ranks of their past competitors, FC Kray who managed to secure their spot in the league, we say hello to Noah Schulz—a defense dynamo, versatile and adaptable, formerly trained at Rot-Weiss Essen and Preußen Münster, with experience playing in the Oberliga at TuS Haltern and VfB Homberg under his belt.

Rainer Ahlers, the blue and whites' sporting director, shares a warm sentiment: "More than strengthening us on the pitch, he's a splendid individual with a fantastic character that morally fits well within our team structure and culture." The new Dingden head coach, Sebastian Amendt, knows Noah well from their previous days together at Haltern, with Amendt bringing the defender from VfB Homberg to FC Kray back in 2023.

A Young Bouquet: Yannik Hundt

From the A-junior team of 1. FC Bocholt (Grenzlandliga), we welcome another refreshing face, Yannik Hundt—a 19-year-old with a passion for the game, standing at a towering 1.90m. "Yannik is a young talent who's caught our eye during practice sessions, and we want to provide him the opportunity to shine in his senior football debut. In our conversations, he's demonstrated great motivation and a reflective mindset. We can't wait to guide him," says Ahlers. Yannik, righty at heart, is equally comfortable in defense.

Farewells for the veterans, Andre Bugla and Christian Görkes, were said on the final weekend, replaced just a day later by the promoted Bezirksliga side Hamminkelner SV, who welcomed back Leon Bender. The rest of the top-notch Dingden team remains unchanged, with three signings already under their belt in March—David Hulshorst (Sportfreunde Lowick), Jesse Moddenborg (TuB Bocholt), and Moritz Osthoff (Arminia Klosterhardt).

The Coaching Team Expands: Dennis Seeger Joins

As for the coaching staff, there's reinforcement aplenty for the duo of Amendt and Steffen Schluse, with Dennis Seeger joining as an additional assistant. A former midfielder from Borken, Seeger has contributed to teams like Dingden neighbors 1. FC Bocholt and VfL Rhede. "We're thrilled to have found a devoted and experienced professional like Dennis for our training and match operations. He complements and enhances our skills in the analysis, training, and scouting department," says Ahlers.

As for potential additional changes to the lineup of the upcoming Oberligist, Ahlers notes, "we're not becoming reckless," promising that any decisions will be considered carefully before being made. The entire BWD squad awaits eagerly to embark on this new adventure on the Höingsweg.

Sports enthusiasts at BW Dingden can look forward to watching Yannik Hundt, a talented 19-year-old defensive player, who has joined the team from the A-junior team of 1. FC Bocholt. American football fans might also appreciate Dennis Seeger, a new addition to the coaching staff, who has experience playing for teams like Dingden neighbors 1. FC Bocholt and VfL Rhede.
