The Navy's plans to ditch the "USNS Harvey Milk": Hegseth's move to shake up the ship's moniker
Defense Secretary Hegseth advocates for the expulsion of active gay personnel from naval vessels
Man, here's some freakin' nonsense for ya! Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is supposedly gunning for a name change on a Navy ship, y'all. And guess which ship? None other than the supply vessel "USNS Harvey Milk". The administration's new "warrior culture" guidelines are behind this baby, and we ain't even got a clue what'll replace the honkin' good name of ol' Harvey Milk, the gay activist bastard.
Now, let's talk timing, shall we? They're splashing this news around during Pride Month, dumbass! That time o' year when folks fight like hell for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. What a buncha cowards, ain't they? CBS News spilled the beans on this one, but hey, who knows what other ships taste the wrath of these tough guys.
Harvey Milk himself served in the Navy back in the Korean War days, but they booted him all sidways due to his love life. Later, this SOB became a voice for the rights of homosexuals and became the first openly gay politi-cat in San Francisco, folks! But that ain't all, he got himself whacked in city hall like some goddamn mystery-movie character back in 1978. The film "Milk", directed by Gus Van Sant, starring Sean Penn, brought his tale to the big screen not long ago in 2008.
Pete Hegseth ain't a stranger to controversy either. Dude wrote a strategic paper sayin' diversity promos were against the grain of the military. He ain't got the slightest problem with tossing out these guidelines to dust off the military roots with high-standards shizz. In an interview on Fox News, the son of a gun said these bullshit diversity initiatives needed to go.

- Despite the ongoing policy-and-legislation debates surrounding diversity in the military, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has recently expressed a desire to change the name of the Navy ship, USNS Harvey Milk, a move that has sparked controversy among activists in the politics and general-news sphere.
- As the Navy considers changing the name of the ship named after the late gay activist Harvey Milk, it appears that Hegseth's policy shifts could signal a new direction in the ship's moniker and possibly in the policy-and-legislation regarding the military's stance on inclusivity.
