Ingolstadt's ERC secure defensive prospect from Cologne's talent pool - Defense Personnel Transferred from Cologne to ERC Ingolstadt

Hey there! Fancy some ice hockey talk?

Exciting times ahead for ERC Ingolstadt as they've snapped up the talents of the young, promising defenseman, Edwin Tropmann! The 19-year-old emerged from the Cologne Sharks' youth system and made his way straight into the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) after penning a two-year deal with his new team.

Last season, Tropmann notched up seven appearances in the DEL for Cologne Sharks and starred in 37 games for their affiliated team EC Bad Nauheim in the DEL2. The kid's got some serious chops, even among the U21 players, leading the DEL2 in total ice time. He's donned every youth national team jersey and has battle scars from a cool three World Championships under his belt. Talk about dedication!

Tropmann led Germany's U20 team, cap in hand, at the World Championships in Canada, ringing in the New Year! Skilling up nicely, eh?

Sport Director Tim Regan's got mad faith in Edwin's progress, believing the kid's DEL-ready and bound to make waves in the league. Let's not forget, he wore the captain's armband at those U20 World Champs!

Edwin'll be slapping on the number 55 jersey for ERC Ingolstadt, and we're rooting for him to take the DEL by storm! Stay frosty, Tropmann!
