Deepening Defense Ties: India and Kazakhstan Strengthen Strategic Partnership

In August 2025, high-level defense cooperation and military ties discussions between India and Kazakhstan took place in New Delhi. Lt Gen Kamaletdinov, along with Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, also held meetings with PTI, a leading news agency in India, and the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff. These meetings focused on reviewing ongoing bilateral defense engagements.

The Defense ministry meeting took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. The Chief of General Staff, Kazakhstan, expressed keen interest in expanding collaborative initiatives across joint exercises, defense technology, and multilateral forums. The mutual commitment to regional stability and global peace was reaffirmed during the meeting.
