Deepcoin launches first centralized exchange for event-based prediction contracts

Deepcoin has become the first centralised exchange to offer Polymarket-style event contracts. The integration allows users to trade real-world event predictions with the speed and tools of a traditional exchange. This move follows growing interest in regulated event markets and decentralised prediction platforms. The partnership between Deepcoin and Polymarket brings mirrored positions to a centralised platform. Quotes, liquidity, and clearing now sync in real time, enabling seamless trading of event-based contracts. Users can access popular Polymarket markets directly through their Deepcoin accounts.

The integration aims to provide a more polished and professional experience for real-world event trading. Previously, such markets were mostly limited to decentralised interfaces or over-the-counter deals. Deepcoin's system now offers the efficiency of a centralised exchange while maintaining the logic of prediction contracts.

Regulators have taken notice of the expanding sector. U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) enforcement director David Miller recently warned that insider-trading laws fully apply to prediction markets. The caution comes as platforms like Kalshi, a regulated event market, saw its valuation jump to $22 billion after its latest funding round. The collaboration between Deepcoin and Polymarket opens centralised exchange infrastructure to event-based trading. It also arrives at a time when both venture capital and regulators are paying closer attention to the sector. The integration could reshape how users engage with real-world event markets in the future.
