Deep State's Desire to Eliminate the Constitution Unveiled

The Modern-Day Red Scare

The Handmaid's Tale - This is the beginning, cloaked in the deceitful blanket of "national security."

Roundups, raids, indefinite detentions in concentration camps, martial law, the erosion of fundamental rights, the suspension of the Constitution... This is the future we're headed towards.

Once we allow our government to surpass the restrictions placed by the Constitution, regardless of the pretended threat, reining it back will be twice as challenging, irrespective of which political party is in power. We've witnessed this vicious cycle repeatedly.

Remember when, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board proposed that government officials should enforce mass vaccinations and deploy the National Guard to deny access to anyone without proof of vaccination in public places? In other words, they wanted the government to use soldiers to round up and imprison the unvaccinated in detention camps. Although it didn't come to pass, it could have easily happened.

Now the script has reversed, and it's the incoming Trump Administration aiming to detain undesirable individuals in detention camps using the military. At present, these so-called "undesirables" are illegal immigrants, but given our knowledge of government overreach and its expansive definition of threats, any one of us could be next on the police state's hit list.

Once the government experiences the intoxication of power - disregarding the Constitution, even temporarily; relying on military forces for domestic policing; resorting to mass detentions and concentration camps to circumvent due process procedures - it won't be easy to keep it in check when it goes berserk.

There's nothing to fear if you are not an illegal immigrant, a conspiracy theorist, or anti-government. You just need to recognize the wisdom in the warning: power corrupts, and unchecked power leads to tyranny that no one should condone.

This is the reason why many are anxious: because we're staring at the precipice of a slippery slope that begins with seemingly benevolent intentions and ends in abusive, oppressive practices that none should tolerate.

We've tolerated the government significantly weakening our constitutional republic.

We've allowed ourselves to be seduced by the seductive song of politicians promising safety at the expense of freedom. We placed our trust in political saviors, never questioning their fidelity to the Constitution. We turned a blind eye while the government amassed an astounding amount of power over us, supported by an overwhelming arsenal, and received judicial sanction at every step. We chose to remain ignorant as partisan politics divided us and made us easy targets for the government's suppression.

Consider it for yourself.

We're living under martial law. We have what the Founding Fathers dreaded most: a standing army on American soil. This shadow army, built of weaponized, militarized domestic police forces who dress like, behave like, and are armed like soldiers, claim the authority to make arrests, and are trained in military tactics, pose a grave threat to our freedom.

We're all under threat. The U.S. government continues to play judge, jury, and executioner over a populace that has been pre-judged, labeled as guilty, stripped of their rights, and left at the mercy of government agents who are trained to respond with unyielding violence. Innocent men, women, children, and even pets have been gunned down by these heavily armed government agents who shoot first and ask questions later.

We're unsafe in our homes. The government's army of heavily armed, paramilitary SWAT teams are waging war on the last sanctuary we have left as a free people: the sanctity of our homes.

Free speech is a luxury. We're moving swiftly towards an authoritarian society where only approved opinions, ideas, and speech will be tolerated. In numerous cases, the government is declaring war on freedom of speech that presents a challenge to their authority, exposes government corruption, exposes government lies, and encourages the citizenry to challenge government injustices. Speaking out against the government may label you as an extremist.

Our privacy is non-existent. We're spied upon by a network of government snitches, spies, and tech warriors. Our government operates as a Peeping Tom, monitoring everything we say, write, read, where we go, and with whom we communicate. Be mindful of what you say, what you read, what you write, where you go, and with whom you communicate, because it's all being recorded, stored, and cataloged, and will be used against you when the time is right.

Our right to bodily privacy and integrity is vanishing. The debate over bodily integrity covers a broad spectrum, from forced vaccinations, forced cavity searches, forced colonoscopies, forced blood draws, and forced breath alcohol tests to forced DNA extractions, forced eye scans, and forced inclusion in biometric databases. These are just a few ways in which Americans are reminded that we have no real privacy, no real presumption of innocence, and no real control over what happens to our bodies during an encounter with government officials. The groundwork being laid points to the police state's conquest of a new, relatively uncharted, frontier: inner space, specifically, the inner workings (genetic, biological, biometric, mental, emotional) of the human race.

Our private property is no longer secure. If government agents can invade your home, destroy your belongings, endanger your pets, and terrorize your family, your property is no longer private and secure – it belongs to the government. Hardworking Americans are having their bank accounts, homes, cars, electronics, and cash seized by police under assumptions that they have been associated with some criminal activity.

We have lost our due process. The groundwork has been laid for a new kind of government where it doesn't matter if you're innocent or guilty, whether you're a threat to the nation, or even if you're a citizen. What will matter is what the powers-that-be think, and if they think you're a threat, then you'll be locked up with no access to the protections that our Constitution provides.

We are presumed guilty until proven innocent. The burden of proof has been reversed. Now, we are presumed guilty unless we can prove our innocence beyond a reasonable doubt to a court of law. Rarely are we even given the opportunity to do so. The government has embarked on a sinister crusade to create a society of potential suspects based on a massive national DNA database. Having already used surveillance technology to render the entire American populace potential suspects, DNA technology paired with artificial intelligence will complete our transition to a suspect society in which we are all merely waiting to be matched up with a crime.

We no longer have the right to anonymity and the freedom to move about freely. At every turn, we're hemmed in by laws, fines, and penalties that restrict and regulate our autonomy, and surveillance cameras that monitor our movements. Meanwhile, digital currency provides the government and its corporate allies with a means of commerce that can be easily monitored, tracked, mined for data, hacked, hijacked, and seized when convenient.

We no longer have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. In reality, a study conducted by Princeton and Northwestern University found that the U.S. government does not represent the majority of American citizens. Instead, they discovered that the government is governed by the rich and powerful, or the so-called "economic elite." Furthermore, the researchers concluded that policies enacted by this governmental elite normally favor special interests and lobbying groups. In other words, we are being ruled by an oligarchy disguised as a democracy and, arguably, on our way towards fascism – a form of government where private corporate interests control, while the people are seen as mere subjects to be controlled.

We no longer have protectors of justice. The courts were designed to intervene and protect the people against the government and its agents when they overstep their bounds. However, due to their deference to police power, preference for security over freedom, and erosion of our most basic rights for the sake of order and expediency, the courts have become protectors of the American police state, rather than guardians of the people. As a result, sound judgment and justice have taken a backseat to legalism, statism, and elitism, while the protection of people's rights has been de-prioritized and made to play second fiddle to both governmental and corporate interests.

We have a dictator for life. Secret, unchecked presidential powers, acquired through the use of executive orders, decrees, memorandums, proclamations, national security directives, and legislative signing statements, enable any sitting president to operate above the law, beyond the reach of the Constitution.

We are one crisis or state of emergency away from having the Constitution abolished.

Keep in mind that the powers-that-be yearn for the Constitution to be abolished.

They yearn for censorship, silence, muzzling, gagging, zoning out, caging, and shutting down.

They desire for us to be monitored for any sign of "extremist" activity.

They desire for us to be isolated from each other and kept at a distance from those who are suppose to represent us. They desire for taxation without representation. They yearn for a government without the consent of the governed.

Connect the dots.

This was never about politics, populist movements, or making America great again.

This is the outcome when good, generally decent people, distracted by manufactured crises, polarizing politics, and fighting that divides the populace into warring "us vs. them" camps, fail to see the looming danger that threatens to wipe freedom off the map and place us all in chains.

It’s the outcome when any government is granted the mindset that it can compel compliance, enforce those mandates through penalties, detention centers, martial law, and a disregard for the rights of the individual.

As I make clear in my book, Battlefield America: The War on the American People, and its fictional counterpart, Erik Blair Diaries, the descent begins in just this way, with propaganda campaigns about the public good being prioritized over individual liberty, and it ends with lockdowns and concentration camps.

The warning signs are everywhere.

  1. In the face of escalating government control and disregard for the Constitution, the role of artificial intelligence in shaping policy-and-legislation and exacerbating privacy concerns must not be overlooked, as it poses a significant threat to our freedom.
  2. The future of truth in general-news reporting is uncertain, as governments and officials increasingly employ artificial intelligence for monitoring and censorship, stifling dissent and promoting a biased narrative in war-and-conflicts, crime-and-justice, and political articles.
  3. Amid the erosion of civil liberties, the mainstreaming of crime and justice practices such as indefinite detentions, martial law, and raids raises the question of whether technology has contributed to the militarization of our police forces, thus restricting our freedom.
  4. As freedom of speech is eroded, politics continues to play a dangerous game with privacy, with governments exploiting technology for surveillance and the collection of personal data, threatening the true essence of our democratic society and the principles enshrined in our Constitution.
  5. The growing power of politics and military forces, fueled by technologies like artificial intelligence and sensors, creates an environment where war-and-conflicts, crime-and-justice, and political issues mirror each other, merging to form a single, oppressive governmental machinery, threatening the livelihood of innocents and the very core of our constitutional republic.
