December at the TRANSITION HOUSE
Lübeck’s Transition House is hosting a packed schedule of events from December 1 to 19. The programme includes everything from creative workshops and family-friendly gatherings to late-night parties and tech courses. Many activities are open to all ages, with some requiring prior sign-up or timed entry.
The month kicks off on December 1 with a 2D Game Art Beginner Course at Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, running from 2 to 6 p.m. Three days later, on December 6, the Nikolaus Kids-Skate Jam takes over from 1 to 6 p.m., offering a beginner skate workshop alongside a children’s party. Expect obstacle courses, face painting, crafts, bubble waffles, and drinks. That same evening, the Christmas Skate Night follows from 6:30 to 11 p.m., organised by HLSB e.V., with spectators welcome.
On December 9, the **Limitation Party** with DJ Forte runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m., but entry is only by prior email registration. December 13 brings Lübeck’s **biggest pillow fight**, set for 6 to 10 p.m., complete with DJ sets, a glitter bar, interactive games, popcorn, and a pajama contest. The **AR Beginner Course** takes place on December 15 at the 360° Science Dome from 2 to 6 p.m. Two days later, the **Teacher’s Sound Lab** at the Lübeck Academy of Music opens for digital jam sessions from 6 to 9 p.m. The **SUPERKUNST AFTERWORK BALLROOM** follows on December 18, running from 6 to 10 p.m. The month wraps up with the **Folk Friday Winter Solstice Celebration** on December 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
