In an exciting turn of events, Dean DeLeo, a renowned member of Stone Temple Pilots, has announced the launch of his new collaborative project - One More Satellite. The debut single from this new venture, titled Paper Over The Cracks, has already made waves, showcasing DeLeo's guitar skills and a grunge-tinged sound with bruising hooks, sultry slides, cascading interludes, twangy progressions, and a piercing solo.

The upcoming record, set to be released via Symphonic on July 18, promises to be a diverse collection of music. It consists of 10 songs, with Paper Over The Cracks being just one of them. Among the tracks, you'll find Vultures, Long Way Down, Can Of Worms, Willow Mae, and Pull Back The Veil.

One More Satellite initially started as an instrumental album for DeLeo to share unreleased material. However, the project evolved, and he gathered a group of special guests for the album. These include old bandmates and new collaborators such as the former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Brian Tichy, longtime Stone Temple Pilots drummer Eric Kretz, English singer Pete Shoulder, and Dean's two children, Rocco and June DeLeo.

Pete Shoulder, the UK vocalist, sings on eight of the ten tracks, bringing his unique voice to the forefront. Eric Kretz drums on the track Serenade, one of two instrumentals on the album, while Rocco DeLeo takes the drums for the songs Drowning Out The Sun, Willow Mae and Spit It Out.

The debut self-titled record of One More Satellite will be a treat for music enthusiasts, offering a blend of styles and collaborations that promise to create a unique sonic landscape. Paper Over The Cracks has already been premiered on a specific website, giving fans a taste of what's to come.
