Deadly Bus Crash in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar Region Kills One, Injures Six

A passenger bus has overturned in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar region, resulting in one fatality and six injuries. The accident occurred on the evening of November 7 on the Shiderty–Astana highway, causing a significant traffic jam and suspending all road traffic in the region due to severe weather conditions.

The bus, carrying an estimated 50 passengers, lost control and overturned into a ditch. The driver's name has not been publicly disclosed. Emergency services responded swiftly, dispatching five ambulance crews and a disaster medicine team to the scene. Some of the injured have been transported to a hospital in Ekibastuz, but their condition remains unreported. A criminal case has been opened following the accident, with preliminary findings suggesting driver error as the cause.
