Title: Ongoing Investigation into the Death of a Young Woman in Pasewalk
After an 18-year-old woman's alleged violent demise in the heart of Pasewalk (Vorpommern-Greifswald district), investigators are still scouring for insights. Currently, two individuals – a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman – are in custody. A spokesperson from the Neubrandenburg public prosecutor's office confirmed this on a recent Monday, mentioning that both suspects have chosen to exercise their right to silence, thus halting interrogation processes.
As of now, the official autopsy report remains unavailable. The body examination took place more than a week ago, and it was suggested that injuries to the upper body hinted at "massive and blunt force trauma." This tragic incident has been classified as a homicide under investigation.
The young woman was sadly discovered dead in a garden at the start of December. Community members, including residents and staff of the disabled facility, paid their respects during a recent funeral service.
In the days following the discovery, memorials in the form of lit candles, blossoming flowers, and heart-shaped balloons were left at the site as an outpouring of grief and support. To honor the young victim further, plush toys were also placed where her body was found.
