The second day of the strike sees continued flight cancellations.

Experience Airline, a Lufthansa subsidiary, grapples with ongoing flight disruptions due to a strike by cabin and pilot crew members. The strike, led by unions UFO and Vereinigung Cockpit (VC), is set to continue until Friday, causing chaos at Frankfurt and Munich airports.

On Wednesday, eight out of 26 scheduled flights were canceled at Frankfurt Airport, with one flight to Ibiza being grounded at Munich Airport, according to reports from Experience. A spokesperson assured stranded passengers that every effort is being made to reorganize travel plans, even transferring three short-distance flights to partner airlines to maintain some semblance of normality.

The prolonged strike poses formidable challenges for Experience Airline, which operates a fleet of 27 aircraft, catering to Europe and international holiday destinations. With over 1,900 employees, the airline relies on efficient operations to serve its customers.

Jens Ritter, CEO of primary brand Lufthansa, criticized the protest action, expressing concern for the discomfort of passengers. On Tuesday evening, he voiced his objection to the collective bargaining agreement reached with Verdi, offering promising opportunities for staff, labeling the protests as unnecessary and detrimental to Experience Airline.

Despite the challenging circumstances, stranded passengers can rest assured that Experience Airline is committed to resolving the situation by rescheduling their travel plans. The ongoing strike at German airports, instigated by UFO and Vereinigung Cockpit (VC), disrupts operations, impacting over 270 flights between Frankfurt and Munich.
