It's nearly the end of the line for the biggest online poker series in the nation, the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) with a massive GTD of INR 16+ Crore. With the stakes soaring high, Day 16 served up six smokin' tournaments, including The Millionaire Main Event INR 3 Crore GTD, its sixth of eight flights. Let's dive into the thrilling highlights of the day...

IOPC Event #87: Money Maker

A buy-in of INR 550 attracted a whopping 574 entries to the first tournament of the day, surpassing the guarantee to generate an INR 2.87 Lakhs prize pool. The money zone stretched to the top 39 places, each securing a minimum payday of INR 1,980. In a nail-biting face-off, online reg Mithun Mahesh, aka 'Intuitionnn', triumphed over 'Baby_Poker' when his two pairs of Kings and Twos smashed the challenger's Sixes and Twos.

IOPC Event #88: Afternoon Thriller

The second tournament of the day drew 418 players, each paying INR 1,100 for a buy-in. The prize pool swelled to INR 4.18 Lakhs, allowing 31 places to take home a minimum cash of INR 3,678. The competition ended in Level 37 with 'jackaal59' outplaying 'Piko' when his two pairs of Queens and Eights overpowered the latter's lone pair of Eights.

IOPC Event #89: The Millionaire Main Event (Day 1F)

The sixth starting flight of the IOPC Millionaire Main Event saw 429 runners step up with INR 11,000 for a buy-in. The field was topped by none other than Zarvan Tumboli, aka 'BolAuntyAuKya', who racked up the largest stack of 3.28 million. Tumboli is hot on the heels of the competition, advancing alongside the survivors to Day 2.

IOPC Event #90: Mega Freeze

Saturday's main event on Spartan Poker, Mega Freeze INR 10 Lakhs GTD, boasted 180 players and a buy-in of INR 5,500. After some intense battles, Rajat Mahajan, aka 'BloatedBelly', snatched the winner's title from 'Amit Sood'. It wasn't easy, though; Sood fell short when his Kings and Tens couldn't hold up against Mahajan's two pairs of Kings and Tens in the final showdown.

IOPC Event #91: PLO HighRoller

Gaurav Sood, aka 'mozzie17', conquered 135 entries in the PLO HighRoller event, taking home a hefty prize win. With the buy-in set at INR 33,000, the tournament's promised INR 43.20 Lakhs prize pool was more than doubled. Sood's victory came at the expense of 'prchiee' when Sood's flush outplayed the opponent's Kings, Tens, and Jacks in the final hand.

IOPC Event #92: Daily Hi-Fi

Day 16 ended with Daily Hi-Fi being the last tournament of the day, attracting 360 players for a buy-in of INR 3,300. Pooling a final prize pool of INR 10.80 Lakhs, the top 30 places walked away with a minimum cash. Amrut Avhad, aka 'amrut851', bragged about his first IOPC title after eliminating 'TamilSuperKing' in the final hand. Avhad's Deuces stood strong against the latter's Ace, bringing the Day 16 action to a close!
