Davido Discusses Striking Similarity Between His Son and the Late Ifeanyi, Finds It Unnerving
In a heart-wrenching confession, music superstar, Davido, has spilled the beans about his son's uncanny resemblance to his deceased son, Ifeanyi Adeleke. In a candid chat with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, Davido couldn't help but admit the chilling resemblance was "scary," making him believe that Ifeanyi had "returned" in some form.
As reported by our website, the heart-wrenching loss of Ifeanyi, which occurred in November 2022, brought Davido and his wife, Chioma, into a quiet period. The couple, however, secretly sealed their union and welcomed a set of twins in October 2023.
Detailing the striking similarities between his son and the late Ifeanyi, Davido confided that his family believes the new baby is a "reincarnation" of their beloved son.
Davido couldn't help but voice his emotional response, "Man, that type of loss made you just be like, 'I'm out'. I'm just going to chill, take care of my wife and take care of the family and get my head right.
"And the boy looks just like my son that passed. It's scary. It's like literally him. We're like, 'No, it's him. He came back."
The pain of losing Ifeanyi has greatly affected Davido, but the arrival of his twins has served as a reminder of God's presence. He expresses his newfound gratitude, "To come back from that and be blessed with twins out the gate... it just shows God is real."
