The image shows a stunning view of the sun setting over the ocean from the top of a hill. I can see a number of buildings, trees, and poles in the foreground, while the sky is a beautiful mix of oranges, pinks, and purples. In the background, I can make out the majestic mountains and the glistening water of the sea.

Breathtakingly Beautiful: Heaven on Earth - David Drebin's Chasing Paradise reimagines a lost Eden through dreamlike photography

Canadian photographer David Drebin has unveiled a new exhibition and photo book titled Chasing Paradise. The collection explores the theme of a lost Eden through striking visuals. His latest series marks another milestone in a career that began in the 1990s with commercial and fashion photography.

Drebin first gained recognition as a commercial and fashion photographer during the 1990s. His images appeared in leading magazines, establishing his name in the industry. Over time, his work transitioned into fine art, now displayed in top galleries and international art fairs.

The Chasing Paradise exhibition showcases evocative scenes, including a woman releasing balloons into the sky and the Hollywood sign bathed in twilight. Another standout image depicts a mermaid washed ashore, reinforcing the theme of longing for an unattainable paradise.

Alongside the exhibition, a 200-page photo book has been released by teNeues. Priced at €79.90, it features over 50 of Drebin's works, some of which have never been seen before. The book's vibrant colour photographs bring the exhibition's dreamlike quality to a wider audience.

The Chasing Paradise series continues Drebin's exploration of idealised beauty and fleeting perfection. The exhibition and accompanying book offer viewers a chance to engage with his vision of a lost paradise. Both are now available for public viewing and purchase.
