Davao's 89th Araw ng Dabaw celebration lights up Rizal Park with music and unity

Thousands of people filled Rizal Park on Sunday for the Hugyaw Dabaw Sound Xperience. The event marked the 89th Araw ng Dabaw celebration, drawing crowds from late afternoon into the night. Hosts Sherwin Sangalan and Kai Del Corro kept the energy high throughout the festivities. The celebration kicked off at 4 p.m. with performances from local Mindanao artists. Oh! Caraga, Tatot, The Dukes, Delinquent Society, Hightimes, and DJ Dale took the stage, entertaining the audience with their music.

Attendees enjoyed seamless connectivity thanks to Converge ICT Solutions. The Converge booth became a hotspot, offering games and activities that kept visitors engaged. One of the highlights was the catching stick game, where winners took home prizes.
