Elon Musk's 20-year-old trans daughter, Vivian Wilson, isn't mincing her words when it comes to her strained relationship with her tech entrepreneur dad. Recently interviewing with the U.S. mag, "Teen Vogue", Wilson dropped some heavy truths, branding her father as a "pathetic manchild" and expressing no desire to reconnect.
"I don't give a rat's ass about him!"
Wilson, who came out as trans in 2020, has cut ties with her father since then. Back in 2022, she petitioned for a legal name change to distance herself from Musk. In this interview, she makes no secret of years without dad's contact—and zero interest in it. When asked if she fears her father's power and influence, she's clear: "I don't give a rat's ass about him." He's just a "laughable manchild" who takes up no headspace in her thoughts.
Elon's history of transphobic comments, including insults aimed at his daughter, is well-documented. Wilson, a child of Musk's first marriage to Justine Wilson (52),anton capitalist and author, says she quit banking on dad's money and prefers conversations that matter to her.
Her mom took her coming out positively, expressing surprise but swiftly accepting and showing support. Vivian maintains a good relationship with her mom today. Musk and Justine divorced in 2008 after eight years of marriage, and they have five other children together, including the late one who passed in infancy.

Asked if she knows how many siblings she has, Wilson confesses she's not up-to-date. "With half-siblings, I'm not entirely sure about the number of siblings I have. It's hilarious trivia for 'Two Truths and a Lie'."
Unlike the rest of us who learned about Musk's four children with Neuralink employee Shivon Zilis (2021 twins, a 2024 daughter, and a 2025 son) from the media, Wilson had no clue until the news broke. She caught wind of her dad's second kid with musician Grimes (37) via a Reddit post. She briefly met her estranged brother X Æ A-12 (nicknamed X) when he was little. "I've got no beef with that side of the family. My mom doesn't either. It's none of my concern," she adds.
