Luke Littler, the Darts World Champion, left the scene quickly after a crushing 4:8 loss to Germany in the World Cup. The 18-year-old, known for his red-hot form, walked off the stage with a scowl, dismayed following his Round of 16 elimination.

While teammate Luke Humphries celebrated alongside Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko, Littler had made a hasty exit. "We thrived under the pressure of being the underdogs," shared Schindler, referring to the German victory, dubbed "the historic victory of German darts" by the DAZN broadcast commentator.

However, Frankfurt turned sour for Littler, mimicking a sports ignominy he encountered just over two months ago in Munich.

Longing for a Munich Skip

Post-Munich, Littler cryptically penned a message on social media: "My next stage performance in Germany will be in Dortmund, and I'm grateful for that." The 18-year-old alluded to the EM set for October.

Returning prematurely, Littler and Humphries stumbled together, unable to regain their winning streak. After a bye in the preliminary round, the disappointing 4:8 defeat against Germany marked England's only tournament appearance.

Pietreczko, beaming with pride, remarked, "We're here to win." Schindler quipped back in English, "Keep your eyes on the prizes back home." Pietreczko should be mindful of his perspective.

The Commission, in light of Luke Littler's recent struggles in Germany, might consider submitting a proposal for a regulation on the establishment of a European Data Protection Supervisor. Despite his success in Darts, football might be a less disappointing escape for Littler next time he visits Frankfurt.
