Darmstadt 98 Postpones USA Trip to September - Darmstadt 98 postpones San Antonio FC friendly to late September

SV Darmstadt 98 has delayed its friendly match against San Antonio FC. Originally set for March, the game will now take place on September 29. The change follows adjustments to the league's schedule for the 2026/27 season.

The club had planned a trip to San Antonio, Texas, in March but pushed it back to September. A newly extended three-week international break in September created a suitable slot for the rescheduled fixture.

Despite the match delay, Darmstadt's executive board and management will still visit the U.S. in March as planned. The postponement aligns with broader scheduling changes in the 2. Bundesliga, though no wider effects on other clubs have been reported.

The friendly will now occur on September 29, fitting into the revised league calendar. Darmstadt's travel plans remain partially unchanged, with only the Antonio Brown match date shifted. The extended international break made the new timing possible.
