In the latest season of the hit TV show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", Danny DeVito's character, Frank Reynolds, continues to captivate audiences with his wild and unpredictable antics.

Frank Reynolds, the morally ambiguous surrogate father to Charlie and co-owner of Paddy's Pub, has become a fan favourite for his outrageous behaviour. His standout moments include embodying Frank's grotesque physical comedy, participating in bizarre schemes, and showing a rare tender side.

DeVito's performance is credited with adding a critical energy to the show, making Frank a memorable character for his wild, unpredictable, and often hilariously grotesque behaviour, anchored with occasional moments of surprising depth. He has been integral to episodes that blend dark humour with moments of genuine emotion, bringing a raw energy that drives the absurdity of the show’s plots.

One of the show's episodes features a plot to sleep with former friends, while Frank Reynolds' feet are often shown bare, sometimes hitting filthy ground within the bar or his shared living space with Charlie. In Season 17, Frank Reynolds appears in a cake form, participates in the show The Golden Bachelor, and engages in a gag-off with Kaitlin Olson and Glenn Howerton in the fifth episode.

Danny DeVito was not the one to initially propose Frank going on an ABC reality show, but he understood and supported the idea. He is actively involved in the show, not just due to wagers. The show's other main character, Dennis, is known for his quasi-nefarious schemes with Dee, while Charlie's words on the show are often pure lunacy, according to DeVito.

The Season 27 finale of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will air on FXX on Wednesday, August 20. The finale can be streamed the next day with a Hulu subscription. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating Frank Reynolds' next unforgettable moment.
