Dannii Minogue is making a return to acting in a new four-part murder mystery series. The Imposter will premiere on Channel Ten on December 21, 2025, with Minogue starring alongside Kym Marsh and Jackie Woodburne. The show marks her first major TV role in years, following a career that began in childhood.

Minogue first rose to fame at just 10 years old on Young Talent Time, an Australian singing competition. By 17, she landed the role of Emma Jackson in Home And Away, playing the rebellious character from 1989 to 1990. She later said the part helped her channel her own early rebelliousness in a safe way.

She has often spoken about how acting kept her grounded. In interviews, Minogue credited *Home And Away* with preventing a 'Britney Spears moment'—a public breakdown under pressure. Over the years, she faced constant comparisons to her sister Kylie and harsh criticism. Yet, she has described her mental resilience as the key to enduring it all. Now, decades later, *The Imposter* brings her back to television. The murder mystery series will see her reunite with well-known actors, including *Coronation Street* star Kym Marsh and *Neighbours* veteran Jackie Woodburne.

The Imposter will air as a four-part series on Channel Ten starting December 21, 2025. Minogue’s return to acting follows a long career in music and entertainment. The show gives her a fresh opportunity to showcase her skills in a new genre.
