Here we are again, talking about good old Queen Margrethe. She's the one who stepping down from the Danish throne last year after 52 years, but don't worry, she's still the queen but with a cooler title, just saying.
Recently, she got hit by a rotten cold and needed to take herself to Rigshospitalet, the big-kahuna hospital in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. Reports are suggesting her ailments are just a cold, nothing serious. A relief for us all, I must say.
Funny thing is, she was last seen in public a few days before, way back on that Sunday, attending a church service commemorating the 80th anniversary of Denmark’s liberation from Nazi occupation during World War II. Scary times, eh?

A Little History:
Queen Margrethe II, who's now 85, had to step down due to health issues, though she's had quite a few health scares before. Back in 2023, she had major back surgery, and the year before that, she spent a few days in the hospital after taking a tumble. The reason she decided to abdicate was all due to those health woes.
Luckily, this latest hospital visit was a quick one, just a precautionary measure, and she's already bouncing back. She's been reported to be in good spirits and is expected to be discharged over the weekend. When she returns residence at Fredensborg Palace, her loyal fans will get to cheer her up with loads of flowers and well wishes, just like always.
