Daniel Deusser and Otello de Guldenboom claim thrilling World Cup Grand Prix win in Verona

Daniel Deusser and his Belgian Warmblood gelding Otello de Guldenboom have won the CSI-W Verona World Cup Grand Prix. The pair bested six rivals in a thrilling jump-off, with a winning time of 36.13 seconds.

The competition saw a strong field, including Emanuele Gaudiano and Esteban de Hus, who had a flawless jump-off. Richard Vogel posted the fastest time but incurred a fault, while Christian Kukuk led provisionally before Deusser's round. Deusser's victory was one of his finest rides in recent years, with Alain Jufer finishing close behind in 36.92 seconds.

The CSI-W Verona 2025 event was part of Fieracavalli 2025 and Jumping Verona 2025, featuring notable participants like Daniel Deusser and Emanuele Gaudiano. Deusser and Otello de Guldenboom had previously won the World Cup Grand Prix qualifier on Friday, making their Sunday victory even more impressive.
