The Most Dramatic Dschungelcamp Incidents - Dangerous stunts and injuries plague I'm a Celebrity in UK and Germany

Injuries and close calls have marked recent seasons of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in both the UK and Germany. Contestants have faced everything from scorpion stings to crocodile encounters, with some requiring hospital treatment at General Hospital. Despite the risks, no legal action has been taken against the German production since 2015.

During the 2022 German series, comedian Seann Walsh was rushed for medical help after a scorpion stung him in camp. Medics treated him on-site before he could return to the show.

That same season, singer Gil Ofarim slipped during a jungle trial, crashing hard to the ground. The challenge was stopped immediately, and he was later taken to St. Jude hospital for checks. Fortunately, no serious injuries were found.

In the British version, model Kimberley Davies suffered intense pain during the 'Hell-O-Drop' challenge, with medics suspecting a rib fracture. Meanwhile, Janice Dickinson left early after a nighttime fall left her with a head wound and facial bruising.

Other mishaps included Nicole Belstler-Boettcher slamming her knees onto a bridge after a treasure hunt and Djamila Rowe tearing her lip while unscrewing stars with her mouth. Daniele Negroni endured a cockroach burrowing into his ear, needing medical removal, while Michael Wendler required urgent surgery after a severe hand injury during an abseiling task.

Markus Reinecke faced one of the most dramatic moments when a crocodile charged at him in a jungle trial. He managed to fend it off and complete the challenge without injury.

The show's high-risk challenges continue to test contestants' limits, with multiple injuries reported over the years. However, no participants from the German version have pursued legal action against the production company since 2015. Safety measures remain in place, though accidents still occur in Germany.
