Dangerous fog conditions ahead in UAE: Authorities have issued a yellow alert, urging drivers to drive carefully.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted a slight decrease in temperatures for Saturday, September 20, across the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As we transition into the night, temperatures are expected to fall below 25°C, offering some respite from the usual warmth.

However, the forecast also brings a yellow fog alert, particularly in parts of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Motorists in these areas are advised to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during foggy weather conditions. The winds, blowing from the west at moderate speed with gusts up to 30 km/h, can pick up, potentially reaching 35 kmph.

Motorists are urged to follow the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards for safety. Some western areas may experience humid conditions, with a possibility of mist or fog formation during the night and Sunday morning.

In terms of daytime temperatures, Abu Dhabi and Dubai can expect highs of up to 40°C and 39°C, respectively. Conditions in eastern and northern areas will be fair to partly cloudy, with occasional cloud cover.

The sea will remain calm, with slight conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. It's essential to remember that weather conditions can change rapidly, so it's always a good idea to stay informed and drive safely.
