In a significant move, Dan Levy's production company, Not a Real Production Company, has appointed Anne-Marie McGintee as the head of film and television. McGintee, who previously served as the vice president of scripted programming at Ava DuVernay's Array Filmworks, will oversee all development and production for Not a Real Production Company.

McGintee's role involves expanding the company's slate through its overall deal with Netflix. This expansion is set to include a variety of projects, such as the upcoming crime comedy series, yet untitled, starring Dan Levy, Taylor Ortega, and Laurie Metcalf.

Dan Levy praised McGintee's experience, stating that her role in Not a Real Production Company's expansion is invaluable. McGintee, in turn, expressed her excitement to build on Levy's legacy and embark on the next chapter with him.

Not a Real Production Company has already made a mark in the industry with its first series, "The Big Brunch" on Max, and its backing of Dan Levy's directorial debut "Good Grief." The company is also set to premiere a documentary about the 1990s music festival Lilith Fair at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Rachel Fanning, who was hired in 2022 and recently promoted to development executive at Not a Real Production Company, will continue to work closely with McGintee and Levy, managing all aspects of project development and production.

Before joining Not a Real Production Company, McGintee was an executive on the original series team at Netflix, where she managed overall deals with Jenji Kohan, Sugar23, and Tribeca Productions. She oversaw the development and production of projects like "DMZ," "Naomi," and "Queen Sugar" at Array Filmworks.

Dan Levy and Not a Real Production Company are represented by Range, CAA, 42West, and Morris Yorn. With the addition of McGinnie, the company is poised for continued growth and success in the entertainment industry.

Not a Real Production Company's expansion in the movies-and-tv industry under McGintee's leadership is expected to encompass a diverse range of projects. McGintee, with her extensive entertainment background, will collaborate with Dan Levy to further develop and produce these projects.
