Damage to acid tank occurred following Ukrainian UAV assault on Tula region's plant.

In the Tula region, an industrial facility in Novomoskovsk suffered damage after a series of drone attacks early this morning, according to local governor Dmitry Myalev's statement on Telegram. Emergency services, along with employees from Rospotrebnadzor, are currently on-site managing the situation.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that an acid tank at the Novomoskovsk facility had been damaged due to the drone attack. A nearby gas pipeline at another facility was also damaged, causing a fire that has since been extinguished. Three individuals were injured in the incident; two were hospitalized, and one received on-site medical assistance.

Additionally, private homes in Kimovsk district sustained minor damage from falling drone debris, though no residents were injured. A report indicates these attacks targeted the Azot chemical plant, a major producer of ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, and materials significant for Russia's military-industrial complex.

A further inspection of the air samples revealed no exceedance of permitted concentrations of harmful substances. Emergency services continue their work at the Novomoskovsk facility to assess the full extent of the damage caused by the drone attacks.

Following the drone attacks, war-and-conflicts and general-news headlines reported the targeting of the Azot chemical plant in the Tula region. The impacts of these attacks were far-reaching, damaging the Novomoskovsk industrial facility, leading to accidents such as the damaged acid tank and gas pipeline fire. All while, politics remains intertwined as the military-industrial complex relies on the plant's production.
